| God is GOOD!
Things are moving much better now than before. I'm coming into my own as a Junior High Youth Pastor. I'm getting to know my kids and in turn they are letting me into their world. My prayer is that these kids would eat me alive! What I mean by that is I want to be impacted by them as much as they are impacted by me. It will be in that place I will be able to feel their pain, feel happy for them, and be oh so proud of them as they stumble and fall then realize what they did wrong and turn from it. I'm really excited to see what this year holds!
on a personal level I have two shows coming up. 2 in under 7 days. look out here comes the world tour!
school starts in under a week...man I just finished last year! DANG'T!

| Much to report. I'm not sure if I told my weblog community or not, however I will now.
On Monday the 8th I started at Bethany Church of Sierra Madre, California as their NEW Jr. High Youth Pastor. I will be in charge of 25 crazy kids, which will be perfect because as most of you know I'm crazy too. Check.
So now that I've told you that I will be leaving tomrrow morning at 7:00 AM for Hume Lake Camp. A whole 7 days with my kids for a week of fun and crazyness. I am sure come a week from today I will be looking forward to my own bed and some alone time. So pray for sanity and God's power to touch the kids' lives.
Summer school is done. However I still have 5 papers which = (2) 1pg book reviews (1) 20pg paper on Nominal Christians (1) 4pg book review (2) Final Essay Paper - to finish. Yeah I'm going to die.

| So peep this...this is how the weekend flowed.
Friday night me and my boy robbie hit up this movie place to peep the film Hustle and Flow...ehhh it was ight. Good acting and some tough scenes to watch but other than that it was better than average film.
Saturday: Trip to Venice Beach where there were many waves that were hit and road all way till it was time to bail. Look out Kelly Slater. The only problem with the day at the beach...I should of left earlier. The sun burn on my back explains why. However, an awesome day to say the least.
Sunday: Church/Chipotle/Nap/In-n-Out/Kristen's Brother's Engagement Party which later lead to the watching of the best show on TV: The OC.
Monday: Last 2 week intensive of the summer Evangelizing Nominal Christians. Ryan my roommate and I got furniture for our living room the apartment is finally furnished.

| Well, two things to report on:
First of all my cd release party happened on Saturday and everything went really well there was about 60+ there not counting all the little kids running around. I'll post pictures when I get them from my roomie. I sold 12 cds and anticipate to sell more this week. So I'm pretty stoked about that!
Secondly, I went out with some of my buddies after church and this girl that we meet came with us. Let me tell you, when you take 4 guys and one pretty girl things can get interesting. Lets just say some pushed and other just sat back and watched. It was interesting to say the least. Just so you know I wasn't the guy who pushed. Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean she possess things that you might want to pursue.

| Ok there are very few things that can bring me such peace and excitement in the same moment. However, Switchfoot does this for me...and I have 30 second clips of all the songs from their new album Nothing Is Sound. I cannot wait for this album, the old one moved me at so many levels, this one is soon to become heavily played on my ipod. Such ear candy! | | |
